Our mission is to revitalize and build the global church.
Most organizations have a mission statement, but for most, the mission statement is just a set of words that have little impact on the day to day operation of the organization. This is not the case at Preparing for Amazement Ministries. Our mission is the very definition of our work and ministry. It is the simply summary of our purpose and our goal. It is the guiding and driving force between every program, policy and decision we make.
The church around the world is in decline. While some regions are experiencing growth, other regions are experiencing great death. In the United States alone, roughly 70% of churches are in decline, 20% are plateaued and 10% are growing. Even the growth happening in the United States has come primarily through people moving between churches. We are driven by the notion that the local church is meant to be the hope of the world as is brings Jesus to its communities. We are driven by a desire to ensure that some form of the Christian church exists for our own children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We know Jesus desires for the church to grow and to make a difference in individuals, families, communities and the world.
We recognize that in regions where pastors and ministry leaders do not have access to education, we have an opportunity to build the global Christian church.
We recognize that throughout the United States (and beyond) there are thousands of churches with wonderful people who love Jesus and want to see their churches revitalize and make a difference in their communities.
Our mission drives and defines who we are as an organization. We have great hope for the church in our country and around the world in the midst of the challenges it faces. We know our nations around the world need the church. We are committed to doing all that we can to build up and revitalize the Christian church around the world.
We are excited about our mission. It is big. It is bold. It cannot be accomplished without the help of God. We hope you can partner with us as we revitalize and build the global church.
Our Mission is to revitalize and build the global church.
