Revitalization Networks

We offer three different types of revitalization networks: one for churches, one for ministry leaders, and one for churches who do not have pastoral leadership.

Churches: Our network of churches, which is open to any church in the United States, is a community of connected congregations dedicated to learning from and supporting one another as they each seek to revitalize their church. Find out more here.

• Three components – Resources, training, and encouragement (Support)
  • Resources:  Access to resources such as best practices, links, seminars, technological support, organizational development support, other online resources (devotionals, sermons, etc), sample documents, book recommendations, podcasts etc.
  • Training:  Content to use for professional development.
  • Encouragement (support): Link congregations, pastors, and leaders with others who have been there, who are going through it now, and who are thinking about engaging a formal revitalization effort.
    • Platform(s) to connect, share and learn from one another, connecting to learning experiences.

Ministry Leaders:  Our network of ministry leaders, which is open to any leader in the world, is a community of connected people passionate about church revitalization who support and encourage one another in this amazing and challenging work. Find out more here.

    • Platform(s) to connect, share and learn from one another, connecting to learning experiences.
• Resources are for use for the ministry leader only; they are not for church use. Church revitalization network is available for that purpose. The Ministry Leader Revitalization Network is primarily for ministry leaders not serving in a context where the church is open to participating in the Church Revitalization Network.

Church Leadership: Our network of church leaders, which is open to any lay leader in the world, is a community of people pursuing revitalization of their congregation with direct support for churches without a pastor or trained ministers. Find out more here.

We offer two options for support: Technology Based and Non-Technology Based.

Church Leadership Network-Both Options  

• Initial Support
  • Meetings to get to know ministry and needs
  • Trainings for key staff and leaders
  • Design a proposal for leadership and support

• Ongoing Support
  • High quality pastoral support and leadership
    • Weekly & special service sermons for the year (written or video based on option)
    • Virtual attendance for board meetings and other meetings as agreed
    • Virtual education, training, and support at least once a year as agreed and scheduled
  • In-person high quality pastoral support and leadership
    • Quarterly worship and preaching leadership as scheduled
    • In person education, training, and support at least once a year as agreed and scheduled
  • Crisis support
    • Crisis intervention and support virtually and in person as needed
  • Free membership in Church Revitalization network (level orange or blue)

Process

• A church makes an inquiry about our ministry & Preparing for Amazement learns about the church.
• Preparing for Amazement may make some additional, specific, support recommendations.
• Preparing for Amazement prepares a proposal for the church.
• The church reviews the proposal. A network covenant agreement is executed.
• The church becomes an operating member of the network.
• The church may choose to not renew their network membership at the renewal date.

Expectations of Participating Churches:

• Financial Commitment: yearly fee based on the covenant.
• Other Commitments: based on church revitalization network document.

Additional Support based on option selected:

Church Leadership Network-Technology Based Option 

• Initial Support
  • Technology consultation, planning, advice and support

• Ongoing Support
  • Virtual high quality pastoral support and leadership
    • Virtual weekly & special service sermons for the year.

Church Leadership Network-Non-Technology Based Option 

• Ongoing Support
  • Written sermons for the year, including special services. 

Additional optional add-on services:

• Virtual high quality worship leadership.
• Extra trips for consulting or worship leadership.
